We are thrilled to introduce IoT4Kids, an initiative dedicated to empowering underrepresented youth through cutting-edge education in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Computer Science. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide and foster a generation of problem-solvers and innovators equipped to face tomorrow's challenges. Combining successful CS and IoT programs as a building block, such as CS50 from Harvard, Google for education, Scratch from MIT, Tynker, and Blockly, we target incorporating fundamentals of Internet of Things (IoT), Computer Science (CS), Engineering, and Robotics into the target schools’ curricula, opening up enormous opportunities for the students.

At the heart of IoT4Kids is a diverse, passionate, and elite team of educators, technologists, and community leaders. Each member brings unique skills and experiences, united by a common goal: to make STEM education accessible and exciting for children in underserved communities.

We are excited to share that IoT4Kids has been honored with the prestigious Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF), a highly competitive grant program by the U.S. Department of State that supports innovative projects led by alums of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs, e.g., Fulbright. This recognition not only validates the relevance and potential impact of our project but also provides a significant boost to our mission, enabling us to reach more communities and make a deeper impact.

With the support of the AEIF funds, we are set to enhance our curriculum, extend our reach to more communities, and continue developing sustainable solutions that integrate technology and education. Our goal is to educate and inspire our students to become the leaders and change-makers of their communities.

Join us on this exciting journey as we continue to break barriers and build bridges with IoT4Kids. Follow our progress, share our stories, and get involved as we use technology to create a brighter future for all.

Stay connected for updates and stories from our team and the communities we serve!
